Frequently asked questions

Based on our extensive internal testing and real‑world feedback from early users, Airmaster extends the usable life of a standard ball by at least three times. For example, if you play twice a week, a fresh can of balls typically becomes flat within a week and is no longer playable. Now with Airmaster, simply place your used balls into the pressure chamber after each session. Balls that previously lasted only one or two outings can now give you five to six sessions or more – and they retain a bounce and feel that are remarkably close to brand‑new balls.
This involves two stages: Pressurisation – After you press the start button, Airmaster takes about 50 seconds to bring the chamber to the target pressure, then automatically switches to pressure‑hold mode. Ball recovery – Once the chamber is pressurised, the balls begin absorbing air and restoring their internal pressure. The time needed depends on their starting condition. Balls that lost pressure just after a session usually recover noticeably within a few hours. If they have been flat for a while, we recommend leaving them in the chamber overnight for the best results. Many players find it convenient to put their used balls in right after coming home, press the button, and take them out the next day – perfect timing.
There are two simple ways: Check the time – leaving them overnight (6–8 hours) usually does the job. Squeeze test – take one out and squeeze it. If it feels as firm and crisp as a freshly opened can, they're ready. You can also open the app to see the chamber pressure – once the pressure reading stabilizes, that's a good sign. The app also tracks your usage data and uses AI to estimate how long each batch of balls typically needs to recover.
Airmaster is compatible with all standard pressurised tennis balls and padel balls, regardless of brand or colour. As long as the ball relies on internal air pressure for its bounce, our pressure chamber can help extend its life.
That’s an excellent question. Tennis balls generally fall into two categories: Pressurised balls – these are the ones you use most often in matches and training. When you open a fresh can, you hear a distinct “hiss”, and they feel firm with a lively bounce. Their bounce comes from internal pressure, and they “die” as that pressure leaks out over time. Airmaster can re‑pressurise and revive these balls. Pressureless balls – these have no internal pressure; their bounce comes purely from the thickness of the rubber wall. They have a lower bounce and feel heavier, often used for beginner drills or ball machines. They last a long time but feel quite different. These balls don’t need pressurisation and are not suitable for Airmaster. In short, if your balls hiss when you open the can, they are pressurised and can be maintained with Airmaster. Over 90% of regular tennis balls and all match‑grade balls on the market are pressurised.
Absolutely. Airmaster was designed from the start to be dual‑compatible for both tennis and padel balls. Whether you play tennis or padel, as long as the balls are pressurised, just put them in the chamber and press the button. Through the app, you can switch between tennis and padel modes with one tap – the device automatically adjusts to the optimal pressure for each, making it incredibly convenient.

Product Questions

Airmaster features a built‑in rechargeable lithium battery and charges via a standard USB‑C port – the same cable you use for your phone, tablet, or laptop. A full charge gives you up to a month of battery life, based on using it 2–3 times per week.
A full charge takes about 2–3 hours. Yes, you can definitely use it while charging – just plug it into a power bank or wall adapter, and it will work normally without interrupting the pressurisation process. After a session, simply plug it in when you get home, and it’ll be fully charged for your next outing.
Airmaster uses high‑quality lithium batteries. With weekly charging, they should easily last 3–5 years. Battery degradation over time is normal for any electronic device. Currently, Airmaster uses a sealed, integrated design to ensure airtightness and portability, so the battery is not user‑replaceable. However, we offer a 1‑year warranty – if the battery experiences significant non‑user‑caused degradation or failure within that period, we’ll take care of it for you at no charge. Rest assured.
The Airmaster app is your free intelligent tennis/padel assistant, packed with features: Real‑time pressure monitoring – see the current chamber pressure at a glance on your phone. One‑tap sport mode switch – toggle between tennis and padel pressure presets instantly. Ball health assessment – helps you evaluate the condition of your balls and estimate how much longer they’ll last. Savings tracker – automatically calculates how much money you’ve saved since using Airmaster – and it’s quite satisfying to watch that number grow! Simply put, it’s like a smart wristband for your tennis balls.
Absolutely not – Airmaster works perfectly as a standalone device. Just put your balls in, press the button on the unit, and it starts pressurising automatically – no app needed. The app is a bonus, not a requirement. You can download it later if you want to switch modes, check your savings, or evaluate your balls’ health. Many of our users don’t even open the app for the first two weeks and still enjoy the device without any issues.
Completely free. There are no membership fees, subscription charges, or unlock fees – none now, and none in the future. We built Airmaster to help you save money, not to charge you more.
